Have you ever felt alone? Dark, blinded by the pressures of the world? Tired from striving so much but never seeming to arrive? In need of direction or fearing an uncertain future? Feel like you don't measure up to other people's standards, or your own… let alone God's standards?
The bad news is, you don't measure up. God actually designed you to not be fully self-sufficient. But the good news is that, if you have God in your life, you don't have to be.
During this Christmas season, as we prepare ourselves to celebrate the birth of Jesus, we're examining some of the bold statements Jesus made about Himself during His time on the earth. They've become known as the "I Am" statements because in each case, Jesus used the personal name by which God referred to Himself in the Old Testament and added to it who He is and why that matters, both then and now.
Just as then, Jesus has the ability to radically change lives! Join us as we take a walk through the book of John in the Bible and find how "the I AM changes who I am."
