In many ways, we live in one of the loneliest times in history.
We are more connected than ever before, we know more about what is going on in the world around us than ever before. Why is that for so many of us, no one knows what’s really going on in our lives?
Even with hundreds of friends on Facebook, followers on Instagram, or acquaintances sitting around you in church on a Sunday morning, it is easy to be lost in the crowd. It shouldn’t be that way, should it?
Life is different, though, when you find real community. In real community, you know what’s going on because you share life together — you go deep and grow deep. Things like sincerity & transparency are valued and even expected. You start to deeply care about those who don’t have what you do. And with Christ at the center of it all, real community can expect real change — even miracles.
Sound too good to be true? Well, it isn’t. In fact, when the first Christian community started to grow nearly 2,000 years ago, they grew rapidly, yet they kept it real, and they kept it SMALL.
Join us as we walk through Acts 2:42-47 and discover how they did it. Along the way, we will talk about what real community can look like in each of our lives — how to find it and how to hold onto it.
Real SMALL Community … don’t get lost in the crowd.
