Student Ministries
Grace Student Ministries is the place for young
people in grades 6-12 to grow in faith, ministry
and service. Students are a significant part of
ministry at Grace, and are essential to our life as a church.
Grace Student Ministries (or GSM as we like to call it) meets every Sunday from 6-8pm.
Students meet at the church to connect with God and one another.
GSM implements three steps in youth ministry. Each part of the ministry
goes hand in hand with the next, getting students plugged in to church
and eventually serving the community at large. Here are our steps!
SUNDAY NIGHT
On the first and third Sundays of every month we invite students
to check us out! These meetings are high energy,
with student-led worship, exciting games and solid Biblical input.
SMALL GROUPS: COME & SHARE
On the second and fourth Sundays of every month students meet at the church
for age and gender specific small groups. These groups create a positive and
challenging place for students to grow in their faith and relationships. Students
grow closer to each other, learn and apply what the Bible has to say about life,
and discuss issues students wrestle with on a daily basis.
STUDENTS IN ACTION:COME & SERVE
In addition to Sunday-night activities, Grace
students minister to the community in a variety of
ways in and around Tucson. A dedicated group
tutors children at the Gap House during the school
year. Dozens give their time at the yearly Tucson
Hope Festival. And still others are involved in
ministry south of the Arizona-Mexico border with
their families.
