Doug Stevens

Doug Stevens is director of The Renewal Project, a ministry that provides coaching for pastors, staff and other congregational leaders. Doug recently served as part-time interim senior pastor at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church, and was senior pastor of Hillside Covenant Church in Walnut Creek, CA, for 12 years.

Doug is a former Tucsonan and a graduate of Palo Verde High School. He also holds degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. Doug is married to Nancy, a public school teacher. They have three adult children. He loves to cycle, write, read, travel, explore the wilderness, discuss hot topics and mediate in a crisis.

Doug will be providing pastoral leadership to Grace during our search for a full-time lead pastor.
