Alpha is an opportunity to explore the basics
of the Christian faith in a low-key, friendly setting. Strong
friendships inevitably result. There is no charge for
Alpha.
The course is especially designed for people exploring
Christianity and for Christians who wish to go deeper in their faith.
Alpha is a safe, fun place to get answers to your
questions.
Here at Grace we offer Alpha over ten weekly
evening sessions. The evening starts with a simple meal. After the
meal there is a video-based talk. After the talk there is a relaxed
small-group discussion. Nobody has to speak unless they want to.
The next Alpha will begin January 13, 2010. Dinner starts at 6 pm.
Dates and topics covered are as follows:
Celebration dinner (1/13)
Week 1 (1/20): Who is Jesus?
Week 2 (1/27): Why did Jesus die?
Week 3 (2/3): How can I be sure of my faith?
Week 4 (2/10): Why and how do I pray?
(2/17): Ash Wednesday
